Curtain Changes for the Coming Season

With another flip of the calendar, we’ve entered a new season for fresh and exhilarating developments. Half of the winter is gone already – which makes the coming months the perfect time for additional prep once spring rolls around. Our rolls of barn curtains are made using strong, reinforced materials and proven production methods, including:

  • Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC)
Like most vinyl, the PVC used to create barn curtains is a fabric scrim or mesh that has been coated with PVC to create a solid, impermeable fabric that is still flexible enough for repeated raising and lowering. These curtains are Celina’s standard, good all-around, all-weather curtains for a variety of different barn set ups.

  • Polyethylene (PE)
PE curtains are woven fabrics that allow for easier movement and less integrity damage over time due to not having as heavy of a construction. It tends to allow more light to pass through, making them a better option for keeping natural light levels high during daylight hours. This lighter-weight build can be an issue if your barn faces experience high levels of winter winds, as they can be more easily worn down.

  • Triple Stitch Technology
Many curtains are sewn with a double line of stitching to reinforce the hem or pocket that creates the edgings. Celina adds a third line of sewing, integrating seamlessly with the existing two lines, to create an even stronger joining.

  • Optional Heat Sealing
Branching across Celina’s manufacturing machines allows us to create seams that are heat sealed instead of sewn. This minimizes the puncture damage that accompanies the sewing process, and allows for worry-free seams that won’t fray or come apart if cut in the field.

Combining all of this is pretty great, and made even better when coupled with Celina’s shipping discount. We are now offering free shipping on all rolls over 3,600 feet! Whether you’re stocking up for a big barn overhaul once the weather warms up or simply in the market for offering our curtains as a distributor, there has never been a better time to get your order placed. Most rolls must be ordered at least 15 days in advance, giving you plenty of time to have them in stock if you act now!

In so far as seasonal preparations are concerned, Celina also offers a wide range of products from customized barn ventilation systems to bio-security foot bath mats to ensure that your coming season is the best outfitted and safest yet!
